Daily 10,000 people reach the age of 65. By 2030, one in five Americans will be over 65, by 2035 there will be more people over 65 than under the age of 18! The Baby boomer and older generations are to be mobilized for ministry! Rather than retirement, we seek to re-tool, re-invent, and re-imagine what God may have for us in this season of life as we are challenged to participate in minstries by, with, and for older adults.
Crescendo is not a program; it's a mindset. It's not an activity; it's an attitude. Each month Crescendo will offer opportunities for older adults to grow in all of these areas as they walk with Jesus and build His kingdom in this fruitful season of life.
We're ready to gather again and create community as the body of Christ! Meet new faces; reconnect with familiar faces. We've changed the location from O'Dell's to church due to weather. Enjoy a casual soup supper, mixer games, and put your campfire voice on and we'll out-sing the crickets!
