“With all of the isolation brought on by the COVID-19 virus and precautions we are taking, it’s especially important to strategically fill our minds with the right things. For example, clicking through the TV channels I might land on something interesting but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good for me. I Corinthians 10:23 encourages us to engage in things that are beneficial and constructive, rather than just anything that is permissible.

I recently made a video illustrating that just like a healthy lawn is the best defense against weeds, a healthy mind full of healthy thoughts is our best defense against weedy thinking. The video, "How to Fight Weedy Thinking," focuses on Philippians 4:8 and is available on his site at https://flamebright.com/archives/2228.

Dan continues, “Lord, thank you for your love and light. My desire is to keep my eyes so focused on you that there isn’t any room for the enemy to get between us. Please help me to fill my thoughts with what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
