Women

Women Ministries exists to advance God’s kingdom through ministries that equip women to grow, serve, and reach out with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In an effort to reach women of all ages and walks of life, opportunities are provided through various venues … Bible study, special events, retreats, discipleship, service projects and other gatherings.

Bible Studies: Nothing to Prove, Wednesday, 6:30 p.m., Room 19

Author Jennie Allen calls us to …

♦Find freedom from self-induced pressure by admitting we’re not enough – but Jesus is.

♦Stop doing things for God and start doing things with Him.

♦ Make it our goal to know and love Jesus, then watch what He does in and through us. Facilitated by Bobbie Kaufman.

Precepts Deuteronomy, Blessing or Cursing; Life or Death; You Choose! Thursday, 9:00 a.m., Room 20

Moses led the people faithfully for forty years. They are now ready to enter the land of promise, and through Moses God tells His children how to live in that land. Discover what God expects of believers and how we should live as His children in the world today. Facilitated by Lynn Black and Michelle Logback.

Planted, Thursday, 6:45 p.m., Room 20.

This ten-week study will focus on Psalm 1:1-3 and will teach us how to give up control and let God PLANT us where we need to be - so we can grow UP into the strong tree described in Psalm 1:2-3. When your roots are deeply PLANTED into fellowship, love, grace and the Word of God, you can't help but become a beautiful strong tree with purpose. Your leaves will not wither under the stresses and storms of life, your fruit will be abundant, and your life with prosper. Facilitated by Linda Totman

Special Events:  You are invited to these events. It’s our desire that you get to know other women who attend Countryside through them!

MOMs Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 9:00 a.m. Mothers from our community are invited as we grow together spiritually and relationally. In addition to a great “hot” breakfast, we enjoy learning together and sharing in care group time too.

It’s our desire that each woman experiences spiritual growth through these opportunities that we offer and finds meaningful relationships with other women and most of all our Heavenly Father. – Linda Totman, Chairperson
